Jayavarman Cruise - HA LONG BAY

The majestic Jayavarman is considered the father in Heritage Line’s “family” of cruise ships. This vessel was named after Angkor’s most venerated king, who ruled from 1181 to 1218, and was a devout Buddhist. King Jayavarman oversaw the construction of some of the most famous temples in Angkor, including Ta Prohm, Preah Khan and the unforgettable Bayon.

Inspired by the serenity and artistry associated with this great Khmer monarch, The Jayavarman’s design was also influenced by the French cruise liner Normandie, which launched in 1935. Travelling the Mekong between My Tho [the commercial port near Ho Chi Minh City] and Siem Reap, Cambodia, the Jayavarman marries the art deco charm of 1930’s France with the romance of Indochina. Measuring 57.8 meters/190 feet from bow to stern, the Jayavarman holds 27 elegantly decorated cabins.

“Unforgettable Experience”
Deni C
Jayavarman Cruise offer complete 5 star luxury. The experience from start to finish was perfect, the scenery is some of the most breathtaking scenery I have ever seen. The service on board the ship was great, with plenty of food (buffet lunch and breakfast, set menu for dinner) that all tasted great. The cocktails during happy hour were made very well. The rooms and amenities were very luxurious and the view is second to none...

“Great service, great cruising!”
Cityhotelsightseeing
We enjoyed a two night cruise with Jayavarman Cruise as a group of six, in three cabins. We were picked up by a good driver in a wifi equipped luxury van in Hanoi and taken to Jayavarman Cruise lounge in Cat Ba, from here we were shuttled to the launch and then welcomed on board the cruise ship. It was a warm welcome and included being showered with rose pedals- a bit over the top, but it would be nice if you were on your honeymoon!

We travelled to Hanoi in a group with my three girl friends, then cruised along Halong Bay with Jayavarman Cruise for 3 days and 2 nights. It was an amazing experience from the minute we were picked up from our Hanoi hotel until the end of the cruise trip! Hospitality of crew are superb, cabin rooms are clean and comfortable and best of all- the meals! We were spoilt silly with amazingly delicious food!
